Icehotel 365 is open all summer and invites you to a night on ice. The specially designed building allows it to be winter indoors and summer outdoors. Stroll around in our 18 Art- and Deluxe Suites and enjoy a refreshing drink “in the rocks” at Icebar by Icehotel.
Discover our summer activities, we offer a variety of wilderness adventures in forests and on the river. Book a relaxing fishing trip, join us on a wilderness dinner or try river rafting and feel the adrenaline pumping. We have adventures and activities that suit everyone - no matter if you’re a family or a group of friends on vacation, or if you’re a company or an association traveling together.
Go on your own adventure and discover the untouched wilderness that surrounds Jukkasjärvi and Icehotel. We have canoes you can rent for your own adventures on the river, or an XC mountain bike if you want to explore the forest and our surrounding area. Pack a backpack with water, coffee and something sweet and enjoy the summer.
Rental of day equipment only takes place on site and cannot be pre-booked. SEK 295 per person for half day | SEK 395 per person for the whole day.
Book one of our summer packages to get as much as possible out of your stay. We are offering packages with accommodation and activities as well as day packages with entrance to the art exhibition combined with a fun activity.
In the summer of 2023, we will open the rustic and cozy restaurant at the Old Homestead every day of the week. Enjoy coffee and Swedish Fika a the porch during the day or homemade pizza in the late summer evening. The Old Homestead is located just 10-15 minutes walk from Icehotel.

A traditional Swedish Midsummer celebration will be arranged by the homestead Association in Jukkasjärvi for the summer of 2023. The celebrations will be at The Old Homestead, just 15 minutes walk from Icehotel. It will be a day with dancing and laughing. Among the classic tarred cottages, there are open grass beds to settle on, the Torne River flows slowly past and invites you to take a dip. The bright evenings and mild summer temperatures promise a long night of celebration.
Try the summer´s most memorable dining experience under the rays of the midnight sun at the Art[ist]ic Table – a chef’s table under the open sky, in the middle of the wilderness. Here you can enjoy the summer’s unique flavors and aromas, all carefully selected, tailored, and spiced with the unexpected.

The midnight sun is a unique and natural phenomenon above the Arctic Circle. From the end of May to the middle of July is an intense period in Jukkasjärvi when the daylight never ends. During this period of the year, the sun does not go below the horizon and instead offers a golden light over our village, which helps nature explode into beautiful colors, flowers and animal life become increasingly intense.
Are you visiting Icehotel during the day and arrive with a caravan that you wish to stay in during the night? During the summer of 2024 we will offer Caravan Parking. We offer two packages for you to choose between:
• Parking and electricity
• Parking, electricity, entrance to the art exhibition, breakfast buffet and communal sauna and shower in Riverside Lobby.
The caravan parking can only be booked on spot. No pre-booking.
You will not be charged for parking if you are coming with a caravan and will stay at the hotel in our hotel rooms, suites, cabins or glamping.
