ICEHOTEL - not a teenager anymore

The winter season 2009/2010 will be the twentieth in order for ICEHOTEL in Jukkasjärvi. A twenty-year journey from an Igloo of 60 square meters to the world's largest hotel of ice and snow at about 5500 square meters. The anniversary season will be highlighted throughout the winter, a celebration which we invite all our guests to participate in. See you this winter!

Ice suite designers for ICEHOTEL #20 wanted

Get ready! Something big is about to happen. Next winter we are going to celebrate our 20th winter season at ICEHOTEL. And we're looking for new and exciting ideas for suite designs. We hereby invite artists from around the world to send us your ICEHOTEL suite design for 2009/2010. We need your proposal no later than July 15th 2009.

Next stop: Space

From being an expert on travel experiences in Swedish Lapland and northern Norway, ICEHOTEL Travel now takes an exciting leap into the future and adds space travel to their product range. How to get here

Does 200 km above the Arctic Circle seem far, far away? Well, there are no restaurants with the prefix 'Mc' nearby but civilisation has reached even our parts of the world. Almost daily flights, daily train departures and if you're travelling from London - you can take a direct flight. It only takes 3,5 hours.
