ICEHOTEL offers a variety of exciting adventures in Jukkasjärvi, Lapland and northern Norway between Dec 10th 2009 and April 18th 2010. Join us on a snowmobile tour across the winter wonderland or try ice sculpting, dog sledding or experience Sami culture.

Ice Driving
The ice awaits, engine revving, snow flying. Behind the wheel of a Saab 9-3 Sport Combi you finally get the chance to try out the safety systems in a way you never could on a normal road. Ice Driving is a driving experience on ice that gives you the opportunity to improve your driving skills.
Snowmobile

Dog sledding
The wilderness around Jukkasjärvi is a landscape without roads. Our four-legged local traffic can forge its own paths over the expanses of white snow. Experience the dream-like sensation of being close to everything – animals, snow and nature – with yourself at the center of it all.
Downhill skiing at Björkliden Fjällby
Björkliden has real mountains for real skiers and meter deep natural snow. The winter season starts in early February and ends in mid May. The vertical drop is up to 538 metres which is the third highest in Sweden.
Sami culture
When you come to Jukkasjärvi in Sweden, you also come to Sápmi - the Sami people's own name of their land. The Sami (lappish people) that lives here speak their own language and have their own culture.
Ice sculpting
A must for visitors to ICEHOTEL. The material – the crystal-clear ice – is plentiful around Jukkasjärvi. ICEHOTEL artists introduce you to the magical world of ice sculpting using special ice implements and with professional guidance.
Stay a night in the wilderness
Join us on a wilderness camp adventure where we cook our meals beneath the open sky and experience the great outdoors north of the Arctic Circle. ICEHOTEL arranges tailor made daytrips and overnight excursions.
Hunting and fishing
Each summer a magnificent wildlife drama takes place here in Lapland. You can take part and play a leading role in one of our memorable hunting and fishing adventures. The repertoire is filled with surprises. We’re just waiting for you.
Wilderness training
We hold a range of courses on life in the woods and in the mountains. You can learn everything from what you need to know about snow and avalanches to how to ensure a safe and rewarding hike.
Ranger Safari
Take a tour with the Polaris Ranger Razer, a "side by side" ATV. An exciting and fast-paced tour on a ploughed track where you can compete against the other participants.
Safaris/Other tours
The Jukkasjärvi surroundings are beautiful to behold and experience, both from horseback or on a pair of cross-country skiis. The winter landscape offers meters thick snow and Lappish forest, an environment seasoned with both mystery and magic. Take the opportunity to go on the tour that offers a close encounter with nature.
