During summer
You can experience the sensation of ICEHOTEL even during summer. In a freeze house a 120 square meters you'll find a summer version of ICEHOTEL with two art suites, an ICEBAR by ICEHOTEL and place for guests to try ice sculpting.
You can experience sleeping in minus degrees, visit the bar and our ice factory, where next year’s ICEHOTEL awaits in form of huge blocks of crystal-clear ice.
The midnight sun blazes for 100 days and nights, a perfect setting for adventures in the surrounding wilderness as well as a space to unwind and relax. Accommodation, activities and restaurants are within arms length when staying in Jukkasjärvi.

Winter 2013/14: Cold suites and rooms
To spend the night at ICEHOTEL is an experience - and not like any other hotel stay. You sleep in a thermal sleeping bag on a bed built by ice blocks, a wooden frame, mattress and it is topped with reindeer skins. Surrounded by art work made of ice and snow, by artists from all over the world. In the morning you will be awakened with a cup of hot lingonberry juice.
In ICEHOTEL it never gets colder than –5 to -8ºC, regardless of the fact that the outdoor temperature sometimes drops down to -30º. Between 10am and 6pm ICEHOTEL is open for the public after closing it doors, it's only available for guests. Winter 2013/14: Warm hotel rooms and chalets
Combine one night in ICEHOTEL with several nights in warm accommodation for that perfect ICEHOTEL experience. We offer double and twin rooms, hotel chalets for 3-5 people, spacious and comfortable, in a Scandinavian design.
Outer wear, gloves, shoes, breakfast buffet, morning sauna and admission to ICEHOTEL is always included in the price when you stay in one of our accommodations. Towels and bed linnen are also included.

As the hotel manager of ICEHOTEL, Kerstin Nilsson is responsible for both cold and warm accommodations, two restaurants, four bars and the gift shop, with a total of 100 employees during the peak season. “I have the best job in the world. We meet new guests everyday, who are seeing us and ICEHOTEL for the first time. We’re striving to reach that special feeling, the magic, in our meeting with every guest”, says Kerstin.
