Nature inspired us with shapes created from pure and wild beauty. Ice flows, perpetually in motion. These abstract volumes are an ever changing screen to project your personal impressions and emotions upon. Install youself among the ice and snow shells, and let your true vision interact with the room.
Be part of the slow drift of visual transformation and dream up your own fiction.
Friederike Schroth is a German architect, based in France. This suite is her second project at ICEHOTEL. Schroth has a long and diverse experience within the architectural craft, and she is the co-founder of the non-profit organization Nomad's art, whose aim is to promote artistic events and its artists.
Fabien Champeval is a French ice, snow and stone sculptor, with a profound bond to the Inuit culture; following their philosophy to search for the inner lives of the stones when sculpting. Champeval's sculpting style is bold and abstract, yet smooth and organic. This is his second project at ICEHOTEL.
