ICEHOTEL Ice & Design was born out of the desire for more people to take part in the narrative power of ice as well as its infinite possibilities as a material. For three decades we have used our experience and the beautiful natural ice from the Torne River to help other brands tell their story.

Over the years we have arranged ice settings for events i locations all over the world, from Kiruna to Cape Town. We have build playgrounds, exclusive fashion runways and performed with live ice sculpting. We have created ice art decorations at international launches, prepared ice blocks to serve food and drinks on, and so much more.
Most of all we have launched ice bars all over the world, both permanent and pop-up bars serving drinks in the rocks, made from Torne River ice.

The concept of ICEBAR BY ICEHOTEL originated at the original ICEHOTEL in Jukkasjärvi, and has since then developed into an international franchise brand reaching far beyond Jukkasjärvi.
ICEBAR BY ICEHOTEL is an ice experience that arouses all your senses. All the interiors - walls, bar, furniture, art and drinking glasses - are made of natural ice that is harvested from the Torne River in Jukkasjärvi, Sweden. These interiors and their concepts are kept at sub-zero degrees to prevent them from melting. To give the guests new experiences, the bar is given a fresh new design once a year.

For brands with a story to tell
We have had the pleasure of working with many great brands, creating everything from fashion runways, international launch events and company branding decorations, and live art.
In 2010, for their Autumn/Winter show in Paris, we created a monumental iceberg towering over the audience at the Grand Palais in Paris. We delivered high technical knowledge, project management and large amounts of snow and ice, in the middle of spring.
In 2018, the mobile gaming company King, lauched their new mobile game inspired by Norse mythology. They wanted to create an ice and fire adventure IRL, to surprise both the media and invited guests.
For the Nobel Prize Banquet i 2018, we provided ice art to tribute the Arctic environment and created a consistent theme for the whole event.
In 2012, BMW wanted to showcase the versatility of their new car by displaying it in several different environments.One of these environments was ICEHOTEL.
