Welcome to the Strobilous Land
Do you remember the scent of the evergreen forest as a child? In Strobilous Land you will travel back to childhood when making fantasy animals of spruce cones, the strobili of conifers, the fallen fruit of the spruce tree, crafted by mother nature with their warm, citrusy odour and conical shape.
They are believed to be one of the oldest forms of plant life and are a symbol of the earth's energy.

About the artist
Linda Vagnelind is a Swedish artist who in addition to her large format art for exhibitions, also do a lot of comission work and mural assignments. Her art is represented around the world, both in official and private collections. She loves adventures and she inspire different groups of people with painting workshops where she interpret different challenges like cold baths and climbing, for the participants to reach their full potential.
Vagnelind is the co-author, photographer and art director of the book Kalla Bad, published by Bonnier Fakta.
