Join us on a mountain hiking tour in Abisko, close to Abisko National Park, learning about the nature in the area. We take the chair lift up to Aurora sky station and Mount Nuolja and hike with an amazing view down to the Abisko valley.
Abisko National Park is located 1,5 hours from Jukkasjärvi and offers magnificent views. We start the tour at Icehotel where a guide from Scandinavian Sami Photoadventures meets the group. Together we go by minibus to Abisko where we take the chair lift up to Aurora sky station.
We hike at Mount Nuolja enjoying the stunning landscape while our local Sami guide tells about nature, Sami culture and stories from the area. At a beautiful location we stop to have a cake and a cup of tea before we go down to the Abisko valley, where we eat lunch in the restaurant. After lunch, it's time to drive back to Icehotel.

Equipment
Your clothing is the most important part in order to be able to enjoy your activity to the fullest. We strongly advise you to dress accordingly to weather since a big part, if not all of the activity is held in an outdoor setting. We strongly advise you to have comfortable clothes and good hiking shoes. A bagpack with some extra clothes and a water bottle is recommended to bring. Please note that the weather in Abisko may be different from the weather in Jukkasjärvi.TIP
