If you are looking for an exciting experience in the wilderness, an overnight stay in a wilderness camp is perfect. You start with a snowmobile tour across Torne River, through the winter wonderland. You share a snowmobile, or drive your own, and eventually reach the wilderness lodge Luspen, situated on the riverbank of Torne River. Luspen is a pioneer camp with two sleeping cabin, a kitchen/dining cabin, a sauna, plus basic facilities like an outhouse/dry toilet.
There is no Wi-Fi or electricity here, perfect to unplug and relax. While the guide makes dinner you can enjoy the wood-fired sauna that is wholesome for body and mind. Sauna snacks are available between steam-sessions. After dinner, you can look for the northern lights and admire the magnificent starry sky if the weather is clear. In the first sleeping cabin there is a double bed (160 cm) and a loft with two single beds (80 cm each). In the second cabin there is one sleeping room with a double bed (160 cm) and one bunkbed. The next morning you will be served breakfast and when you have finished and packed your things, you drive your snowmobile back to Icehotel and can marvel at the untouched nature around you during the ride. You will be back at 10 am.
Booking Information
Each booking is for the entire camp with 1 - 4 persons You can also add up to two more people for an extra cost. For all our tours that include food we need to know your diet restrictions or food allergies. Please fill in this information in the booking flow. At the activity day, we gather at Meeting point 15 minutes before start time, equipped and ready. Equipment
Your clothing is the most important part in order to be able to enjoy your activity to the fullest. We strongly advise you not to underestimate the cold in the Arctic during the winter months and to carefully follow our recommendations regarding clothing and equipment. Our guides have the right to deny anyone dressed wrongly or too cold to join the tour.Included
It is mandatory to wear warm clothes that are adapt to arctic weather. Loan of warm winter overall, helmet, warm shoes, gloves, and balaclava is included for you as a guest to this tour. Visit Riverside Lobby well in advance to get equipped.Required to bring
Dress warm underneath, preferably in thermal clothing, a warm middle layer, and hat. Bring your own toothbrush and toilet bag and maybe some comfortable change of clothes after the sauna. You wont fit all your luggage on your snowmobile. But you can bring a small backpack to carry a set of comfortable clothes for the cabin, a toothbrush, or for example a head torch and a book. Towels and soap will be available for the sauna.Tip
