For its 2010 Autumn/Winter show, Chanel is planning an Arctic environment with a monumental iceberg towering over the audience at the Grand Palais in Paris.
They need a partner who can deliver high technical knowledge, project management and large amounts of snow and ice - in the middle of summer.

Solution
A 265 ton heavy and 40 meter-long iceberg is designed and produced in Jukkasjärvi and transported to Paris where Icehotel project leads the assembly.
Forty of our best ice artists sculpt in shifts for seven days straight in order to make every detail match the design sketch.
Result
The iceberg fashion set is to this day ranked as Chanel's best runway show of all times, not least by magazines like Vogue and Elle.
