At the Veranda we want to create a welcoming atmosphere, and a cozy escape from the cold winter outside. With its soft lighting, intimate seating and relaxed atmosphere it will make you feel like you are gathering with friends for a shared meal. The Veranda feels more like a living room than a restaurant.
Our aim is simple: To provide a tasting menu that is a flavour experience of the Arctic, where all senses are present. With our 12-course dinner, we want to present you with our dishes in an authentic, warm and genuine way!
At The Veranda we focus on local seasonal ingredients, and every dish is created with inspiration from the beautiful yet sometimes challenging nature of this area. We like to prepare the ingredients and dishes using cooking techniques that have been used for generations, like curing, smoking, drying and pickling. While these techniques once were essential for survival, we now use them to highlight the great flavours of the ingredients we are fortunate to use.
The courses you will enjoy here are honest and straightforward, and we let the ingredients speak for themselves.
At The Veranda we take lactose allergies into account. We also offer a vegetarian Veranda menu.
